The Art of Preaching Through Pain will equip preachers to preach with passion, power, and polish in spite of personal and professional problems that occur.

This talk focuses on three primary deliverables:

• Enable preachers to apply the PREACH framework for delivering focused messages each week.
• Assist preachers in overcoming obstacles that occur before, during, and after a preaching assignment.
• Highlight the benefits of utilizing the PREACH framework for weekly sermon preparation.

In the world of ministry pastors and church leaders face challenges and pressures on a consistent basis.  The demands of ministry on a church leader’s time, family, and health have led many to burnout and leave the ministry alltogether.  Church leaders are expected to experts in the scripture, model a perfect marriage, counsel with competence, be a hero in the hospital, and preach with passion and power every week.  Although God has called pastors and leaders to serve with the grace He has granted, the task of shepherding and leading can be grueling. 

This talk focuses on four primary deliverables:

• Church leaders will discover four signs that burnout it building up and create a strategy to avoid burnout.
• Identify the five main causes of burnout in ministry.
• Discover and implement five strategies to avoid burnout in ministry.
• Learn three actions to take to reginte passion for ministry if burnout in ministry is active.

As a church planter, there is nothing more exciting than receiving the call to establish a new church or ministry in a city in which God has given you a heart and a passion for. The many ideas and possibilities of reaching a city or area for God can be endless. Knowing the purpose and having the passion for a new church or ministry is vital to the success of a work, however, many church planters have the passion and know their purpose but need assistance with the plan. In his talk on preparing the plan for church planting, Pastor James provides insight and strategy for a successful church plant with minimal stress.
